The course was in great condition and the weather was great . Folkebo Scramble is a great and fun team competition, 3 players per team, each player need to have 6 tee shots and you can’t hit your own ball twice in a row.

Lots of laughter, birdies, misses and cheering on the course, and as we summarized the event on the 19th hole, over beer and GCS sponsored fingerfood, we all agreed that this competition is one of the best we have on the schedule.

This years winner was Team Lauri Sulanko/Agneta Iredahl/Torbjörn Sahlen with a net score of 54. Runners up was Team Dan Garellick/Marie Wall/Peter Hultin with a net of 59 and on third place came Team Mikael Näsman/Bo Dahlqvist/Jan Boecker Johansen with net 61.

      37 on first 9 + 40 on 10-18 = 77 gross /54 net

2. Team Dan Garellick, Marie Wall/Peter Hultin

      38+44 = 82 gross / 59 net

3. Team Mikael Näsman/Bo Dahlqvist/Jan B Johansen

     41+43 = 84 gross / 61 net

4. Team HansIredahl/Bo Åmell/Claus Bergman

     41+45 = 86 gross / 62.7 net

Extra prices, closest to pin on hole 9 went to Lauri Sulanko and on hole 13 to Peter Hultin (4,41 m from pin).

See you next time Saturday 13 September on Golf de l’Empereur for Nordic Cup, arranged by Finland as they won last year (and as they did the year before last….). Time for a Swedish victory ?
