Saturday May,10 we played this years edition of Rhododendron Cup. Golf Club Enghien (course Ahrenberg) offered as always a course in great shape, but also fantastic summer weather.
Before first tee, Tomas Szmida invited the players for some bubbly refreshments. The Rhododendron Cup was Tomas last competition as he is moving south with the Family during the summer. Great initiative and we will miss you Tomas!!
And how did the competition go?…well, best of all in this 4ball better ball stableford competition played the team Kenneth Thomas and Tomas Szmida with 44p. Great played by both and a perfect ending for Tomas!
On Second place came Patrik Lindgren and Jan B Johansen with 42p. Jan made a couple of birdies but another would have been needed to grab the first price. Good play by both !

Extrapriset Longest drive Herrar på hål 9 togs hem av Jan B Johansen. Inga damer träffade fairway, men Gudrun Carlsson var ytterst, ytterst nära med en long drive men just utanför fairway.
Closest to pin Herrar på vackra hål 15 var Mikael Näsman, 7.1m från hål. Närmast av damerna var Elina Yrgård.
